Excluding Files on AVG Antivirus

There are some time that you want to try some programs that you downloaded on the internet with a crack or patch file included on the program. Those crack or patch files are mostly considered harmful to the system therefore your antivirus installed on your computer block it right away. However, some user still insists to run these crack or patch files to activate the full features of the program before buying the program online.

This tutorial is for educational purposes only, you can follow the steps, however, do it at your own risk. I’m not responsible for any damage it may cause to your system.

In this example, I’ll be using AVG antivirus, open the program’s interface, go to Tools then select Advanced Settings, as shown on the image below.

Now look for Resident Shield on the left, then select Excluded Files and then by clicking Add, browse and select the required crack or patch file, click Ok or Apply to save the changes.

Now you can use the crack or patch file for activation, for safety reason delete those files if not needed anymore.
